On 2 December 2020, YB Senior Minister MITI has launched grant SAG under Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA).
On 2 December 2020, YB Senior Minister MITI has launched grant SAG under Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA). The SAG initiative is part of the RM100 million allocations under the National Economic Recovery Plan (PENJANA) which was launched by the Government in June 2020.
The objective of SAG among others is to assist and incentivise SMEs and Mid-Tier Companies (MTCs) in the manufacturing and services sector to automate and digitalise their operations, production and trade channels. The SAG will be given on a matching basis (1:1) up to a maximum of RM1 million per company for capital investment in automation machinery / equipment / software.
In order to disseminate information on the grant to potential companies, MIDA will be organising a webinar on SAG as follows:
