Our commitment to providing quality products to Malaysians dates back over 100 years ago. Nestlé began in Malaysia in 1912 as the Anglo-Swiss Condensed Milk Company in Penang and later, due to growth and expansion made a move to Kuala Lumpur necessary in 1939.
Following the nation’s independence in 1957, there came a need for increased job opportunities and more product options. Following this, in the mid-1960s, we began our Culinary Products Division producing exciting culinary solutions under the well-loved MAGGI trademark. This led to the establishment of our first manufacturing facility in Malaysia.
Today, Nestlé Malaysia operates 6 factories and employs more than 4,600 employees nationwide, producing over 500 Halal-certified products.
