Our Functions
- Promote foreign and domestic investments in R&D activities and initiatives under Malaysia’s Lighthouse Project
- Evaluate applications for R&D status company and tax incentives
- Identify emerging technologies and business opportunities by strategising policies with the promotion, industry and services divisions in MIDA
- Support and facilitate engagements between local and foreign research institutions in developing new & emerging technologies and R&D; as well as coordinating feasibility studies on new industry clusters
