ENERtec Asia 2026 provided an important platform for MIDA to engage industry players, promote investment opportunities and strengthen collaboration across Malaysia’s renewable energy and battery energy storage system (BESS) ecosystem.

Held under the theme “Energy & AI: The Synergy for Energy Transition,” the event brought together policymakers, investors, technology providers and industry leaders to exchange perspectives on the future of clean energy, energy storage, and decarbonisation, while exploring opportunities for greater industry collaboration.

Discussions also explored emerging investment opportunities across renewable energy, battery storage systems, and supporting technologies, as well as the importance of closer collaboration between government and industry to accelerate project implementation.

The event reinforces ENERtec Asia’s role as an important platform for connecting investors, technology providers and policymakers while showcasing Malaysia’s growing capabilities in clean energy and energy storage solutions.
