“The Sabah government will enhance the existing good relations and bilateral cooperation with China. Good relations between Sabah/Malaysia and China have benefitted both parties, especially in terms of trade and economic interests,” he said in a statement Monday.

Hajiji said this to Chinese Consul General in Kota Kinabalu, Liang Caide, who paid a courtesy visit on him at the Sabah State Administrative Centre here Monday.

He also expressed hope that the close relations between Sabah and China would continue to be strengthened and the spirit of friendship and brotherhood would grow.
