Reservoir Link bags RM16.7mil contract to built solar plant in Perak

12 Sep 2022

Reservoir Link Energy Bhd’s 51 per cent owned subsidiary Founder Energy Sdn Bhd (FESB), has received a letter of award from Savelite Engineering Sdn Bhd (SESB) for the turnkey construction and commissioning of a 25MWac large-scale solar photovoltaic plant in Perak.

Under this contract worth RM16.7 million, Reservoir Link will construct, install, and commission infrastructural, civil, and structural works.

The works are expected to be completed by 31 December 2022.

“We are immensely glad to announce our second turnkey contract win this year for our renewable segment after having just secured one from Atlantic Blue Sdn Bhd last month,” Reservoir Link executive director Thien Chiet Chai said.

“The continuous wins are testaments to our exceptional services and strong track records which we have been known for as the largest player in engineering, procurement and construction for solar photovoltaic projects in Malaysia.

“Benching on our strengths and given our belief in the ramp up of renewable energy projects, we expect more projects to be awarded in the coming months with the progression of large-scale solar projects well underway,” he said.
