Mah Sing, CECC collaborate to assist setting up of Chinese investor operations in Malaysia

Mah Sing Group Bhd will collaborate with the China Electronic Chamber of Commerce (CECC) to assist Chinese investors in setting up manufacturing facilities in Malaysia.

In a statement, the property group said the partnership would also promote Malaysia-China strategic partnerships.

The developments comes on the back of Mah Sing’s participation as a high-level business delegation in the Malaysia-China Business Forum 2023 in Beijing led by Malaysian Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

Mah Sing founder and group managing director tan Sri Leong Hoy Kum said Mah Sing will collaborate with CECC to provide a one-stop service for Chinese investors so they can quickly familiarise with Malaysia’s real-estate climate, as well as manufacturing industries an government investment policies.

“Mah Sing will support CECC members, from sourcing for land to setting up production facilities up to export of goods for international markets,” he added.

“Mah Sing has more than 40 years of entrepreneurship experience in manufacturing and property development in Malaysia, and we believe our extensive experience makes us the ideal partner for Chinese companies looking to invest here in Malaysia.

“Our relationships with these Chinese companies will also help to expand Malaysia-China economic and trade relations.”
