Invest Selangor expects deals worth RM350 mil at Selangor International Business Summit 2022

Invest Selangor Bhd officially launched the 6th Selangor International Business Summit (SIBS) 2022 with expected negotiated sales of RM350 million and showcasing Selangor as a global investment destination.

Selangor Executive Councillor for Industry & Trade, Datuk Teng Chang Kim said that SIBS 2022 is expected to bring in RM350 million worth of transaction value.

The event was officiated by the Crown Prince of Selangor, His Royal Highness Tengku Amir Shah, who represented His Royal Highness Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC).

Selangor Chief Minister Datuk Seri Amirudin bin Shari hopes participants would take advantage of the four-day event.

“We will continue providing networking avenues such as SIBS, as it has proven to be one of the biggest and successful business summits ever held in the region” said Amirudin.

Teng also added that Selangor is doing its very best in offering SIBS as one of the most important platforms in this region for networking, collaboration and doing business.

The opening ceremony included two-exchange-of-documents ceremonies between UMW Development Sdn Bhd and LONGi (Kuching) Sdn Bhd, followed by Perbadanan Kemajuan Pertanian Selangor (PKPS) and Petronas Global Technical Solutions Sdn Bhd.

SIBS 2022 will host nine events, involving domestic and international participants from various sectors including food and beverages industry, digital economy, research and development, and healthcare.
