*Note: Temporary Closure of Applications for Automation Capital Allowance (Automation CA).

The Automation Capital Allowance, initially introduced in the National Budget 2015 and extended in the National Budgets of 2018 and 2020, expired on 31 December 2023.

Subsequently, it was further extended in the National Budget 2023 until 31 December 2027. The new applications for Automation Capital Allowance are temporarily closed as of 1 January 2024, pending detailed mechanisms & guidelines to be approved by the Minister of Finance.

The applications will be reopened once the detailed mechanism and guidelines are available.
