Top Glove was established in 1991 in Malaysia and has grown leaps and bounds to become the world’s largest rubber glove manufacturer. Today, Top Glove with its annual production capacity of 40 billion pieces of gloves, exports to 1,000 customers in over 185 countries. Malaysia remains to be the location of our manufacturing hub, a true testimony of this country's supportive environment for our business.
Since the early beginnings, we have started a good working partnership with MIDA and other government bodies. MIDA has helped us attain the necessary approval of manufacturing licences to start our business operations and the expansion to 17 factories currently. With the cooperation and technical assistance from the Rubber Research Institute in the early years, Top Glove has innovated products that meet international standards of safety, quality and effectiveness to facilitate seamless supply and provision to cater to the global demand.
The Government offers attractive tax incentives for companies like us operating in Malaysia. We will continue to provide necessary feedback and complement Government’s role and efforts in sustaining the conducive and competitive business environment of this country.
Today, we have built a strong working foundation with MIDA and other government bodies in promoting rubber gloves to the world as well as maintaining Malaysia’s position as the world’s leading producer and exporter of rubber gloves.
