The partnership is in line with MHB’s aspiration to enhance its energy management services under its portfolio.

The MoU will provide MHB with products and services from SSI operating company which consists of a digital grid business unit comprising e-mobility software, energy efficiency, microgrid, energy dashboard, feeder automation, energy consulting and protection devices, among others.

Meanwhile, its distribution systems business unit features capabilities such as eMobility charging infrastructure, PV solar inverter systems, medium-voltage switchgear, low-voltage switchboards, motor control centre and busbar trunking systems.

Group chief executive officer Nizran Noordin said the partnership with Siemens was a significant milestone for the company as it continues to enhance its product and service offerings, particularly for our asset and facilities management segment and energy management services.

“Leveraging on Siemens’ expertise and proven track record as a world-class technology partner, we are optimistic that this collaboration will enable MHB to raise the bar in our energy-related initiatives and explore new opportunities,” he said in a statement today.

He said MHB’s core business segments encompassed property and asset management as well as energy.

“With this collaboration, there is a lot of potentials that we can tap into to develop and foster more efficient energy management systems.

“Given the strong emphasis on renewable energy, we are confident that this will unlock value and contribute to MHB’s long-term prospects,” he added.

Executive chairman Datuk Redza Rafiq Abdul Razak said the partnership between MHB and Siemens will spur greater value-added activities for the group that in turn will benefit the State at large.
