Inari Berhad acquired Amertron Global in 2013 and we renamed as Inari Amertron Berhad (“Inari”). Through the years we formed several subsidiaries to anchor different core competencies alongside to customer’s expansion plan. Inari principally involved as an outsourced semiconductor assembly and test (OSAT) service provider for Radio Frequency (RF), Fiber-optics transceiver, Optoelectronics and sensor technologies products. Inari covers backend wafer processing for RF products, chip fabrication and wafer certification for Fiber-optics chip, advanced system in package (SiP) assembly and test, including fine-pitch flip chip surface mount technology and optoelectronics products assembly and test. Other services include customized sensors and IC packaging design and characterization, process customization and assembly, products testing, box build and direct customer drop-ship.
Inari has grown tremendously since the past 10 years starting from 500 employees with 1 factory, to more than 6000 employees in 12 factories operating across Malaysia, Philippines and China. In addition to our current production floor space of more than 1 million square feet, we anticipate to add on much more production facilities in our 3 years roadmap. Our major Research and Development activities and advanced operations reside in Penang to boost the local technology transformation and create more talent pool which provide valuable opportunities to local academia.

With the adoption of Industry 4.0, Inari is heading towards a higher technological and value creation business environment which in line with Malaysian 2050 National Transformation Plan.
