Malaysia has already been hard at work to transition the industry players towards the adoption of automation and smart manufacturing concepts and technologies. With both the manufacturing and services sector contributing almost 80% to GDP, MIDA is now taking the strategic move to lead the way in spearheading the adoption of smart manufacturing and Industry 4.0 in Malaysia.
Malaysia’s manufacturing and services sector need to adopt and embrace these new and disruptive technologies to accelerate further in the ever changing global environment.
Following this, MIDA and the Asean Korea Centre is collaborating to jointly organise the “Seminar on Malaysia’s Smart Manufacturing” which will provide the platform for both Malaysian and Korean companies to work together for strategic collaboration in adoption of Korea’s Smart Manufacturing technologies.
Korea is well known in smart manufacturing and have strengths in these field following the 4D Industrial Revolution and it Robotics Intensity to workers is generally high compared to other countries according to the International Robotics Federation.
