	<p style="text-align: justify;">Companies located within a 70km radius from the Kota Kinabalu Industrial Park can now access compressed natural gas (CNG) from Sabah Energy Corp (SEC), whose station is at the park.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">SEC’s project has made Sabah the first state in the country to offer CNG via a virtual pipeline system.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Speaking at the launch of the project, Sabah Chief Minister, Datuk Seri Musa Aman said SEC’s approach would enable more users to benefit from the project.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">In addition as the gas is priced cheaper compared with other fuels, the project would be attuned to the state’s efforts to make Sabah more cost-competitive for business.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">He said as CNG is a cleaner burning fuel compared with other types of fossil fuels it would reduce pollution to the environment, which is a key consideration noting the State Government’s emphasis that the growth sectors in the state adopt measures that place importance on environmental protection and sustainability.</p>
